Being a digital photographer from Europe, newly transplanted in this wonderful western country, has given me a plethora of opportunities to enjoy many diverse equestrian events with new breeds galore: Arabian, Tennessee Walker, Thoroughbred, Appaloosa, Paint horse, Palomino, Quarter horse and an occasional wild mustang!

As a rider from the "English" school, I am familiar with the cadence and rhythm of the horse. Catching the correct movement is very important and I can count the beats and hear the hoof strikes in my mind. Using this knowledge helps me click the shutter at the perfect time when the action is here.

The aim of my photography is to capture the beauty and elegance of these magnificent creatures in a dynamic and action-filled moves or posed at a barn in an academic attitude.
It is my privilege as an artist to present the photo that exemplifies the dynamism and mood of that moment. Each of these photos is unique and the composition emphasizes the strength of the horse and rider, magnifying the amplitude of the move or conformation.

You and your equine companion create the show, I create the memory.
